Meet the Coaches
Head Coach | McKenzie Miklitsch
Hello!
My name is McKenzie Miklitsch and I am the Head Coach for Competition Cheer here at Etowah High School. My experience with cheer has been a long one. I cheered for total of 13 years in various cheer programs. I started off on a recreational team in Illinois called SAA. There, I cheered sideline and competition. Once all-star cheer started becoming more popular, I began cheering for a gym called EGGS which eventually turned into Cheer Illinois Athletics (CIA). I cheered for both SAA and CIA throughout elementary school and junior high school. Once Junior High School started (7th-8th grade), I cheered for that school's basketball cheer team, SAA, and CIA. SAA aged out at 8th grade and by then I was ready to cheer for High School. I made the High School's sideline and competition cheer team, and continued with that until I moved to Georgia. Cheerleading is a sport that I have always been passionate about and I am so excited to carry that passion into my coaching career. |
